Bolton Castle, The watcher and the strange orbs

An imposing Castle on the edge of a picturesque village, my first thought when I looked at it was how on earth was I going to manage all those stairs, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Especially when there was a number of people who were at least 20 years older than me nipping up them like they were actual 20yr olds. I wasn’t going to show myself up. The visit was not intended as a ghost hunt but more a sightseeing tour arranged by my youngest daughter as part of a holiday trip we were on. Wee Sis on this occasion was not with us. However of course I couldn’t resist in attempting to tune in.  There was a lot of castle to see with its nooks and crannies and I liked the fact that most of the original building remained intact. As we walked around I became aware of two women, on the first floor. I am aware that Mary Queen of Scots was interred there for a period of time but it was not her presence that I was picking up.  One of them, the mistress of the castle,I felt was in mourning for her lost infant children and the other was a Nursemaid/nanny. As we proceeded to the main Hall my daughter began complaining that she could feel something brushing her face and leg, although again there was no wind or breeze within the area. Moving on we wandered around the remainder of the castle and it was down within the brew house area that I began picking up really strong psychic activity. In the garrison area I began to feel sickly, with stomach pains and as I continued within the area my phone which I was just holding to use as my camera started to click and take pictures, the type I observed later when looking through the snapshots, that caught the floor, a trouser leg, my handbag and the Orbs…rewind… what ! Orbs ! – Wow…but back to the tour and the stomach ache, a plaque on the wall revealed that the soldiers stationed there at the time of a siege were dying of starvation and had to eat all the livestock including the horses…as we left there so did the nausea. Outside in a court yard I had the feeling I was being observed, there was one window high up in a turret, windowless and inaccessible to the public (from the inside) I snapped two pictures in quick succession and it wasn’t until later when looking through the pics I saw the ghostly face/figure in only one of the pictures-in fact a few of the pictures taken by my daughter had other possible strange shapes in them…wow.! Definitely want to go back for a visit again. Myself and my wee Sis Daisy discussed it that night and with intrigue we will make a return journey here together,
